Halloween 2010

So I've never been one who is really all for having her kids dress up as the same exact thing. This year I didn't have much of a choice. I asked my older boys what they wanted to be and of course their answer was "IRON MAN!"... immediately followed by a serious glare towards one another that I am pretty sure would have turned into a punch to the face by one or both. So to save the faces of my children I decided, why not?!? And of course Daxtin couldn't be left out so he was our tiny Iron Man also. Here are the 3 cutest Iron Men in the WORLD!

Brysin turns 5!!!

Better late than never right? Warning: incredibly emotional momma post :-) So up until this year birthdays have been an absolute BLAST for my sweet Mr. Brysin. For some reason i'm having a much harder time with the fact that my first born is 5 than I ever thought I would. Not necessarily the age but that he will officially be a kindergartner in just a couple months. It's really really hard to grasp that concept. The weeks leading up to his birthday I couldn't stop thinking about the years that lead up to this one. Beginning with the moment I found out I was pregnant and calling David with such an excitement I literally thought I was going to burst. I was definitely one of the lucky few who had no morning sickness and had a pretty easy going laid back pregnancy. Then on the morning of June 11, 2005 it set in. I  was going to be a mommy! I was scheduled for an induction and after some negotiating was finally able to get all settled into Brysin's birth place. Apparently my pregnancy was so easy so that I could be well rested for what was to come. After 17 hours of long hard labor and a failed epidural (which was probably why the 17 hours seemed like an ETERNITY) I was blessed with a beatiful baby boy. Brysin Tae Gallegos born June 12, 2005 at 12:56 am. Weighing in at 8 pounds 2 onces and 22 inches long he was the most georgeous baby I had ever laid eyes on. Ya maybe i'm biased since i'm his mommy but boy did David and I ever do an amazing job. He was absolutely perfect in every way. I couldn't stop crying for sometime whenever I would look at him because I was so overwhelemed such an intense feeling of happiness it was unreal (and mostly due to the dramatic change in hormones)  I was/am eternally grateful to you, Brysin, for making me a mommy. So now the THAT part's out of the way maybe I can suck up the tears and finish haha. Through the past 5 years I have watched Brysin become such a wonderful big boy, big brother, teacher, student, adventurer, sports enthusiast, and most importantly he is such a wonderful son. When getting to know Brysin you will learn the following things:
- LOVES SPORTS! This kid was born to play ball whether it be soccer, baseball, football... you name it he's there!
- serious daddy's boy
- kind hearted and full of energy
- shy at first but quick to show off any skills he's got hiding up his sleeve
- WONDERFUL big brother
- full of jokes
- usually the "tattle-tail" in any given situation hehe
- a rugged boy through and through

Sportin his new Iron Man costume!
Playin "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" haha
Opening his new Iron Man costume.
Anxiously awaiting the signal to blow these bad boys out!
Whackin the piniata
Givin it his all :-)
The rewards for such effort :-)

Dr. Mom on my lunch

So.... last friday I found myself being the "doctor of the house" though it definitely wasn't my intention. I went home for lunch per usual and was feeding the baby when i noticed something orange in Landin, my almost 3 year old's ear. I looked closer and discovered he had shoved a little orange ball inside his ear canal and it was WEDGED in. It looked impossible to get out on our own so I told David to load up the boys and get going to the Dr's office to have them remove it. So while David was making arrangements to get a vehicle over to our house I decided to see if I could get it out on my own but was scared to do too much in case it shoved the ball further in his ear. I used my pinky finger nail and gave it about 3 tries and that little ball just popped right out. Had i not had a finger nail that thing would have taken a dr to get it out. there wasn't nothing skinny and long enough laying around our house that we could have used. Just one of the joys of having 3 little boys running wild in our house. lol.

Lots of changes and lots of memories!

Hi all!! Sorry it's been such a long time. I VERY RARELY use this thing honestly. But for those of you that do keep up with blogs here I am.

First off I had yet another baby boy. He was born on August 5th at 7:36 AM. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was an adorable healthy little boy. He was born via scheduled c-section since my last little boy, Landin, was born emergency c-section. I never imagined having so many sons. I wouldn't change it for the world though. They keep me on my toes and they have their crazy sides but gosh I love them. Let me describe a little bit of each of them.

Brysin: Will be 5 on June 12. He LOVES being the "big" brother. Every chance he gets he runs past his itty bitty brother and kisses him and tells him he loves him. Brysin and Landin wrestle from morning till night. Sure they fight but it doesn't change the love he has for his little brother. He joined a soccer team the summer of 2009 and was incredibly talented in kickin that ball around. He loved the attention he'd get when he'd make a goal too. After finishing the season of soccer he wanted to be put in wrestling. So in October 2008 he began wrestling and ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. He is quite the little athlete if I do say so myself. I almost began crying during his first ever tournament because he's grown up so much. I know he's only 4 1/2 but I remember holding him in my arms for the first time like it was yesterday. He's really big into Toy Story, Transformers, and Spider Man. Brysin has a wide imagination and loves pretending.

Landin: He will be 3 on April 17. He LOVES being the "middle" brother. He pretends sometimes that he's bigger than he actually is but nontheless he's still the middle guy. I find myself still babying him sometimes cause while he's still a big brother he's still only 2 1/2 and needs LOTS of momma's attention. He's always kinda been my stubborn little guy but LOVES to cuddle. He can be so independent but he still needs those hugs and reassurances. He is a little tease too and loves acting so big that at times his oldest brother doesn't understand that he's just trying to be like him. Landin will be my first little boy to break a limb i've decided. He's so brave and daring that he'll do just about anything his oldest brother tells him to. Just last week he got a bloody nose from jumping from the top of the ladder of their (brysin and landin share a bunk bed) bun bed onto his (the lower bunk) bed. He missed the actually bed and hit part of the frame i'm thinking cause when he ran to me he was carrying a ton of his own blood. Thank goodness it was just a bloody nose and not something worse. Landin's favorite stuffed animal and one of his best friends is "bunny". He can't go anywhere without him. In fact it's a family emergency in the case that we do misplace bunny.

Daxtin: Just turned 6 months old. He is my most cuddly baby. I am thoroughly soaking it up too cause he may very well be our last baby. Only time will tell. Daxtin loves watching his brothers play..... he starts rocking back and forth as though was was thinking "let me at em'". He first smiled at the age of 5 weeks old and hasn't stopped since. He is always smiling/laughing. Even if you just glance at him he is smiling away. He loves sleeping with a fuzzy blanket up next to his face. This is the longest I have ever nursed my kids and boy do I wish I had been able to do it this long with all 3 of them. I've had issues with drying up previously but so far i'm still going strong thank heavens. It is the most bonding thing between a mother and her child. I feel such a connection when I nurse. Not only because of the closeness but to know that I am the one responsible for growing a human being. It is truly the best feeling in the whole wide world. Daxtin loves jumping in his jumperoo. His Grandma Gallegos nick named him "roo" for that particular reason. He just figured out how to roll over this past couple weeks..... now if he could just figure out how to do it again lol. He's always been a very strong baby..... ever since birth.

All of the holidays were VERY fun! We got to spend lots of time with our wonderful families. They all love us so very much that sometimes its a little overwhelming. I wouldn't change that for the world either though. It can get a little chaotic at times when we are plannin on where to go for holidays or who is watching our 3 little angels but I feel so blessed to have so much family that cares about us.

Well that's the update for now and don't be too surprised if I don't update this thing again for a while lol.

It's been a while!!

So here is one of the newest pix of my little family. The boys are really getting big. I don't really know how to do this blog stuff so I haven't really kept this page up to date or anything. I will try harder though. There aren't any events coming up to talk about but I am excited for Thanksgiving. I LOVE the food :-) plus I don't have to do all the cooking. Other than that we are just trying to stay healthy and get through this stupid winter stuff that comes every year :-)
